Completed Scheduled PATCH maintenance: 16/02/2020

This maintenance is a PATCH maintenance.
You are required to download new files in order to play.
Failing to do so will cause you to disconnect from the game.

Hello Maplers,

We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on February 16 It will last approximately until it's done. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play!

Time:
6 PM server time

What will be unavailable:

• All MapleLegends game servers and channels
• Merchants will be closed
• In-game name change requests using @changeign automatically processed

Changes and Updates:

• The release of Valentine's Events and ....? (Info at maintenance)
• Our client modification .dll will update to version 1.2 (Changes announced at maintenance)
• Balance changes (Changes announced during maintenance)
• After a very popular and long-lasting request (really, since 2015 or so) hair/face/skin coupons are finally purchasable with donor points*

*I just want get out of the way that no, the reason this finally is possible is not that we want more donations. It just got to point people are genuinely upset this is not possible in MapleLegends while it is in other servers. I have since the time it got asked never seen someone really against it, so after so long I finally bite and make it possible.

Data related changes and updates

• All Event Data
• Free Market will be changed to be Valentine-themed (by Krauser94 with changed footholds compared to last year by Kimberly)
• Monster Book cards for Shanghai will be released (9 new cards)
• Fixed a visual bug where the settings screen for taking screenshots still said 'Scroll Lock' instead of 'Print Screen'
• The quest in ToT where you need to go to first job instructor should be fixed for good
• The Devil Slime from Ximending Metro now has a unique sprite colour (Snoozey)
• The Taipei101 mobs now have smoother animations (Snoozey)
• The Shaolin mobs now have smoother animations (Snoozey)
• Common and Rare Gachapon tickets now have a glow effect similar to Snowdrop Coins by popular request
• The repeatable quest for Dragon Stone now has a unique quest ID because people were abusing the buff you get with it. This is why we can't have nice things.

Fixed the following Cash items or cosmetic related:

• Rainbow Wings
• Reincarnation of N
• Snow Witch
• Angelic Emerald
• Bunny Carrot Weapon
• Detective Chapeau (will be re-enabled in the Cash Shop)
• Sparkling Face (White)
• Starry Chair which incorrectly healed 500 instead of 50
• Dew Parasol

Notice: As always, with complete client changes the MAC client will be unavailable. It's unknown when it becomes available. I just want to give a reminder with a big heart that our client modifications are getting bigger and bigger. At some point, it's very possible that Wine just permanently breaks. It doesn't make it any better that 32 bit is no longer supported on the latest OS version of MacOS. Apologies for the inconvenience while we try our best.
