Fixed Next Patch Screenshot Button Makes Blank PNG File

Saw thread, took a screenshot, seems to work fine for me.

 

took like 20 and they all worked yep

 

i have the same issue happening since anni patch

p.s.: during anni patch maintenance i formatted my computer (windows 11)

 

I've had the same issue since the latest anniversary patch too, on windows 11.

 

Just checked and noticed all of my screenshots are also blank images, Windows 11.

 

I just downloaded the game and tested it on an old windows 10 laptop, and got blank screenshots too.
Also tried turning off Game DVR as some articles suggest it might interfere with the screenshot function, but still got pitch black images.

 

Just found something very interesting that might help deduce the issues a bit more.

For frame of reference, I'm on a windows 10 laptop with both an intel iGPU and dedicated Nvida Graphics card and had this issue for weeks after the initial patch that had this start coming up. I recently got a second monitor and to my surprise, I found that my screenshots are finally working again. But only if I had my Legends window running on the monitor which is running from my dedicated graphics card's HDMI port in the laptop.


The visible two screenshots were taken in windowed mode and fullscreen mode on my second non laptop monitor. The one between the visible screenshots was me dragging the window back into my laptop's monitor and trying to screenshot it.

Pasta I hope this can help narrow it down a bit more since I think it's very likely due to something with integrated graphics (maybe!).

 

Even more information on this (credits to iDarkRose) on discord, it appears that the black screenshots load properly when opened on windows media player.

I checked with both black screenshots from a month back and any recent one, all appear to load properly in the player but this is obviously not ideal.
