Macintosh Stuck on "Verifying 'MapleLegends' "

    Hey guys! So i recently decided to try to play maple again on the mac, but when i downloaded it, i get stuck on verifying. I've been stuck for the past hour. I tried redownloading it but I keep getting stuck at the same point. Is there anything I can do?

    Im on a Mac Sierra.

    UPDATE: it verified, but keeps unexpectedly quitting when i try to start it up, nothing pops up then it quits
