Suggestion: Quest Monster Cards

I would say this will be rather unfair I know of people who have high quest completion rates. This would mean they can just auto complete the whole monster book and get the ring easily.

 

How is that unfair? Anyone can complete quests. People that have already done so didn't put any less effort into it than someone who starts doing quests now has to.

cards in my opinion should be by grinding .

 

By ur logic, let's say u can only get cards by quest . And those people who grinded at least 10hrs a day previously (leeching or whatever) get free cards. Do u think it's fair?

 

I like the attempt to make questing more rewarding, but I don't think we should include monster cards as rewards because there would be no reason to grind for them anymore.

To be honest though, I wouldn't mind this feature, that way i don't have to grind for monster cards on my bish at all

Not 100%...Perhaps close to 99.5%

 

If you count the area's it's about 37. That would be only 1 tier and a bit for the ring if you completed them all.

That said, completing all quests for 1 area is quite hard, it's not like everyone who did quests gets a full set instantly.

I'm not saying i want this added, i Just disagree with your reasoning.
I'd like the medal system more (Quest specialist medal).

Ok this is where I interject; NO medal system please >.<
I do like the idea, but maybe including an achievement book visible only to the playing character... but then that doesn't seem to differ much from the quest window. I don't think we should overload the game with extra and unnecessary rewards and stickers. It might be a relatively small aspect, but that's still one of the things that brought down the quality of GMS. Monster book is okay... but nothing beyond it.

 

Now THAT is interesting~ It's like having a second monster book, but instead of grinding for cards, you grind quests? People don't get a lot of recognition or bonus advantages from spending the time to complete quests at the moment. Adding another kind of multiple-tier reward or perhaps independent area related special rewards would be fun. Though I don't know how likely it is going to happen because it is something that will be completely new to maplestory, and it would require a lot of time to research the stories and background of each npcs and places.
