Summer Event: Growing the Maple Tree (sunshine donators)

Maybe a top 1 ~3 for each class (Assasins, Bandits, Ice Lightining, fire poison..)

 

Last year there was an Assassin in the top 5, so it's not impossible for non-mages to compete.

 

Not impossible - but hour for hour spent grinding is going to be in clear favor of mages. It's more work and more of a time sink for those without a 15 hit AoE skill.

I really like the idea of the #1 donator for each class winning a prize instead - maybe lump them into their groups though. (Top mage, top bowman, top warrior) and not split into sub-classes.

Yes, and I'm acknowledging that.

 

Making a top 3 for each class (archer, mage, warrior, thief, pirate) would be fairer considering that the current rankings comprise namely of mages/bishops who innately possess the upper hand due to their class abilities

 

We're leaning towards rewarding the global top 5, as well as the top 3 warriors, mages, bowmen, thiefs, pirates and beginners. There would be some people both in the global top 5 and top 3 of their class, but they would only receive the rewards once.

The polls are divided in a 1:2 ratio, but I haven't seen any replies of the people who don't like this suggestion. This decision isn't final yet, so I hope you guys keep discussing it, and also to hear something from the people who voted for the option to keep it the way it is.

 

There shouldnt be anyone who doesnt like the suggestion just because it doesnt put anyone in a worse position, in fact it makes everyones chances a bit better.

 

This would be for next year right? I mean, the event is almost over.

 

Only reason I wouldn't like this, would be that more people would get the reward which would make the reward not as special and probably also make it worse. Thus those in the top 5 would get a worse reward than they would have gotten as the staff can't be handing out the same level of prices to 15+ ppl.
