Update Summer Patch skill changes

    Hello Legends,

    As mentioned before, the summer patch will also contain skill changes. We did one a while ago, which you can find by clicking here and looking under 'Skill changes'. The changes in this patch have yet to be added to that topic, so you can compare the current changes to what we had previously.

    Skill changes:
    [​IMG] - Beginner
    [​IMG] - Echo of Hero can no longer be dispelled

    [​IMG] - Fighter
    [​IMG] - Rage now has 30 levels instead of 20. It also gives 20 ATTK at level 30, instead of 15 ATTK at level 20. Because this is a complete SP requirement change, the skill description has been updated to make this clear.

    [​IMG] - Paladin
    [​IMG] - Threaten - Threaten now decreases mob defense by 100 instead of 20. To re-clarify, the skill currently works on bosses.

    [​IMG] - Magician (I/L, F/P)
    [​IMG] - Element Amplification now increases Magic Attack by 140% at max level instead of 135%
    [​IMG] - Fire Demon now has 140% base attack at max level instead of 120%
    [​IMG] - Ice demon now has 120% base attack at max level instead of 100
    [​IMG] - Paralyze now has 240 base attack at max level instead of 210
    [​IMG] - Chain Lightning now has 210 base attack at max level instead of 180
    [​IMG] - Blizzard damage has been decreased from 570 to 550*
    [​IMG] - Meteor Shower damage has been decreased from 590 to 570*

    * Our goal with the mage buffs is to buff the non-AoE skills. Since Element Amplification buffs all skills, Blizzard and Meteor has had their stats slightly lowered to compensate for the buff. After calculation, there should still be a small but slight buff.

    [​IMG] - Bowmaster / Marksman
    [​IMG] - Strafe damage have been increased from 100% at max level to 110%

    [​IMG] - Shadower
    [​IMG] - Assassinate time have been decreased to 10 seconds from 12 seconds. The time for all other levels has also been decreased by 2 seconds.

    [​IMG] - Gunslingers
    [​IMG] - Double Shot range have been increased from 350 to 380, and damage from 80% to 110% at max level.
    [​IMG] - Burst Fire range has been increased from 350 to 380

    [​IMG] - Corsair
    [​IMG] - Battleship will receive a HP buff
    HP formula:
    Before = [(Skill Level * 4000)] + [(Character Level - 120) * 2000]
    After = [(Skill Level * 5000)] + [(Character Level - 120) * 3000]
    [​IMG] - It now takes 50% less time to get on and off the Battleship.

    [​IMG] - Rapid Fire damage have been increased from 160% (a Neckson string error said 150%, this is false) to 180%

    [​IMG] - Energy Charge charge rate (the speed at which the bar charges up) is increased from 192% to 213%
    [​IMG] - Stance chance increased from 50% to 75%
    [​IMG] - Barrage post-casting delay have been further decreased from 400ms to 200ms
    [​IMG] - Dragon Strike post-casting delay have been further decreased from 400ms to 200ms
    [​IMG] - Demolition post-casting delay have been decreased from 900ms to 400ms

    I need to use my own sp reset?

    Interesting that stance still hasn't been increased even after lengthy discussions in the thread. I'm assuming it's because of extra iframes we get from reducing the post-delay. Would be curious to see how much difference it will make during bossing. Hopefully I should be able to test out soon! SeemsGood

    Oh wow, AM buffs!! For those wondering, I/L ultimates will do approx. 500-1000 more damage and f/p ultimates should do 1000-1500 more damage than currently. *We'll all still feel a little bad for probably never using ice/fire demon =/.

    To clarify, Chain Lightning will still have the damage reduction of 50% per mob it goes through, right? & Paralyze will be limited to 1 mob?

    I too was expecting that ele wand balancing so bishops don't use AM wands=p, but it makes sense to leave them untouched given how popular bishops are for leeching + training mules.

    While I would agree personally, sadly Neckson didn't created this elemental weakness yet in v0.62 for bishops.

    Any word about how the increased SP requirement will affect existing players? Would we have to buy SP resets ourselves? Not that I mind, but it'll be nice to have a confirmation from the staff.

    Interesting. I'll come to try these changes out soon. It's a shame about stance, since it was corrected to 90% in GMS, but we'll see how it goes!

    We lowered the basic attack for the ulti's so you'd still need the same amount of TMA as pre-change and post-change to 1 hit petri ^^ maybe with like 2-3 ma variance.

    I personally don't think it's a skill that needs to be SP resetted into. More like something to dump extra 4th job points into, seeing that all other 4th job skills are hot garbage after a certain point. *cough* meso magnet OnionCrazy

    For the time being bear buffs + ciders shouuld still be the norm. It's more quality of life than necessity to get max rage I believe ^^
