The Journey of Elliy [The Washing-is-Impossible Journal]

Hi there,

Here's something that I've been working on and off for the past year and a half. I've been wanting to start this journal like half a year ago and 60 or so levels ago, but I'm lazy and I keep putting it off. Not anymore, though!

I'm hoping with this journal that I get to meet new people and talk about the game and stuff or something (idk) in this thread and possibly beyond, because I usually just keep to myself in-game and sell leech on my Bishop, haha. Also, I'm thinking this thread of mine will help me keep track of my HP progression over time, since I don't maintain any records at all.

Anyway, without further ado...



Meet Elliy, my Fire-Poison Arch Mage. I've been HP washing her every level ever since... idk? I think about level 30 or so. I actually can't remember. But I did stop fresh HP washing in favour of MP washing ever since level 50. I've since reached 29k MP as of level 120-ish, and now I'm working on stale HP washing every level, all the way to 200!

My goal is to someday survive a hit from Horntail without Magic Guard, and everything else past that! Bossing is hard for a Mage, but you never know! I know some people don't like the Magician playstyle, but I do very much enjoy farming mesos and selling leech while watching shows and movies on a tablet, haha.



Currently, Elliy is a Level 126 F/P Arch Mage with 3491 HP and 29155 MP, as well as 1066 Magic with Meditation and MW20!

Till now, my Bishop has been the one leeching her, but Elliy has come of age and can kill mobs with her Meteor Shower all by herself, so this is her journey, and whenever she levels up I'll update this journal! Hopefully. Updates might take a while, as I've run out of vote cash and am trying to get more drip fed to me on the daily, alongside farming the Anniversary Event for extra AP resets. It's really slow going, but we'll get there!

Took a while, but I got enough vote NX to stale wash for two levels (126-127, as well as unused AP from 126's levelup). Much like Wargames, the only way to win is to not play (and wait for daily voting). Aside from daily PQs for the event.

Each level takes approximately 60k+ NX, because I do 5x MP washes before using AP resets to reset out of MP into HP until I hit approximately 29150, before resetting 5x MP back into INT.



Elliy is now a Level 127 F/P Arch Mage with 3691 HP! Yay~

I'm grinding at ULU 2, and I've been selling leech as I do it since it's nice to have people pay me to grind. Getting used to running 3 clients vs 2 is still a learning process, but I've been adapting well. I've also been selling 1-hit skele leech on my Bishop to raise funds for Elliy's MW20 package. I should have enough meso now, but I'm still divided on whether to yolo for a 70% chance (30% chance to get totally fuked), or take the safe route and spend significantly more meso. It's like 435m-ish... I think? Unless someone can set me up with a better deal

Just as fun trivia, my Bishop failed 6 Gen 30 books before passing the 7th. Thankfully (for me), I bought a package, but still... my luck with RNG isn't too stellar, heh. I did pass MW20 on my first try on my bishop, tho.

Unfortunately I didn't. I spent of most my points on AP resets :/

Once again it took a while, but I've made some progress on my F/P Arch Mage. I expect to be done with this project by the solar death of the universe. Maybe later than that, actually.



Level 130 now, so I can equip my Bishop's TMA 189 Elemental Wand 5. Yay! I am currently at 1169 Magic with MW20 and Meditation!

I am also at 4046 HP and 29k MP, so three levels have given me approximately 300-400 hp.

I'm MP washing every level up, and then stale HP washing with the generated MP back down to 29k.

Fresh washing would get me about 40 HP per level, but doing this nets me around 100-ish. Costs significantly more NX tho.
