    tbh, maybe i'm a bit biased as lvl 200, but i enjoyed that bucc got some sort of useful skill upgrade til lvl 190.

    And about the rhythm thing, I wasn't complaining per say, but rather just trying to figure out what some people felt bad about the new bucc. But regardless of faster bubble charge overall, it is true that pre-changes the bubble lined up perfectly off of ST that was satisfying to me. But it was really only important in HT anyway, in any other boss, faster bubble charge is easier.

    Yeah, this is what I meant. There shouldn’t be any issue with using rage or stoppers like previous posters mentioned.

    FWIW I do think this should be detailed in the skill changes thread

    yah mw20 fits comfortably but mw30 IS an issue, but to be fair other classes have problem fitting MW30 as well

    You benefit from stoppers during bubble, but technically you are missing out on the 20wa that bubble provides. But one could make argument that "well whatever other classes would use cider instead of bubble so its same thing"

    I'm not saying you need to buy leech, I did the same thing with two characters, including my main attacker who was my first character i didint touch in leech from 1 to 100, and I suffered the same lack of skill points,
    it is a natural process of all char, bucc and corsair even more

    Weird idea to make Orb better without actually making it too OP:

    Give it targetting rules like barrage and demo (targets the oldest unit)
    This would make it a prime tool to use to funnel damage into priority boss targets outside of ST window, and some passive cleave damage

    I think my brain has just been sending strong "it's different to how I remember, so it's wrong" signals. I've been trying to adapt my strategies to the new timings and it feels about the same as before. I still would like my suggestion to be considered around energy charge being less of a skill that did 5 things [Stance + 20 Att + fake Power Guard + energy attacks + previously Time Leaping] for bucc and instead enable Energy Blast (which it already does) and Energy Orb (which is ironically more useful in single target situations) as mobbing options. As well as maybe redistribute its Stance effect to be passively applied to the Transform skill, which in its current state of enabling a bloated and useless skill in 3rd job and allowing you to put SP into Super Transform despite the two skills otherwise being disjointed from each other. And possibly combining that with Tommygunner's suggestion of making the charged state 2 minutes to just make it less annoying to charge constantly in general, though building charge isn't usually an issue when mobbing.

    The 1 min on, 10-15s off doesnt annoy me as much as the small quirks of bubble like hitting enemies that disables knockback for split second.
    Also how flash fist range is even shorter than barrage which is melee

    Not a big issue until you try to hit bigfoot with its tiny ass hitbox

    idk if you guys noticed but now ST grants the 5% passive mastery bonus at level 11, making it a very nice value breakpoint

    Since the heroes and marksmen are trying to find ways to remove "dependence" on SI, I'll just toss in the idea of giving bucc self-SE and increasing the attack gained from bubble preemptively. I really don't want Bucc to have the same master-servant relationship with Paladin that NL-SE maintains. It would be cool if our identity as a class wasn't exclusively held up on being a SI mule that no one wants in their party, Time Leaping Resurrect, and pinning the last 2 bosses one can feasibly access.

    agreed, if theres steps being made to make bucc less desirable in party, then eventually we will be stuck in a place where we basically have no niche outside of AFK zak runs?

    Also since this is now a thing on the server, possiblity of making Bubble buffs be fully stackable with other consumables? similar to goblin event consumables.

    Buccs are not going anywhere and have arguably the safest place in the meta. Even if you take away SI entirely, they still have TL, by far the best pinning in the game, and extremely consistent single target damage. They will still remain a top 3 class in a world where SI doesn’t exist.

    Many comps can already be considered to have effectively "removed" si.

    Classes that dont need si:
    *NL
    *Shad
    *BM
    *Bucc
    *F/P
    *I/L
    *Bish
    *DK

    Classes that use si:
    *MM
    *Sair
    *Hero
    *Pally

    And even then, hero and pally *can* choose to trade some peak damage for lesser si independence. Some may even say SI is already just a paladin enabler in the endgame. Its the power of TL and pinning on a class that still does good damage that keeps them an "auto-pick" in content. And cleave situations where bucc damage/pinning isnt relevant, many would rather mule the si/tl or just go dk and go without si entirely (see cwk).

    And out of classes you named above, i think its only critical to like MM to have SI, from what i seen its not as much of an enabler like SE for NL's is...

    I do wish we were slightly better in Cleave role for CWK however. It works, just not really that optimal. Which is a shame because Orb could fill a really nice niche in 3 target cleave with how it works.

    Disclaimer : actually 0 bucc player experiences, this is all about viewpoint from 'who had bucc as cleave partner'.

    If we talk about cwk cleave scenario of bucc, I'd wish to suggest one of these -

    1. Just make energy blast, or dragon strike have better DPM on 3+ targets.
    or
    2. Make orb dmg reducing 0% ~ 5%.

    cwkpq cleave is all about 'how to balance between 3 bosses'. I've seen some buccs saying 'but when I use orb on cleave, my @dpm20 peaks, isn't this better?' but, inflated damage distribution on certain boss makes single boss die way faster, and from that point, your partner (mostly hero/drk)s @dpm goes into 2/3, which falls into cleave duo's net dpm into trap. I even see buccs doing not even dpm distribution on cleave as kind of trolls. But yes, also I agree that bucc's flat dpm combo output is sad, that's why I'm asking flat dpm combo skills buff (energy blast / dragon strike / SSK) or making orb into another option for flat dpm cleave tool, for 'when bubble is on', for 4th+ high lvl buccs.

    Remind that who decides timer of cwkpq cleave is 'who dies in last', not 'who dies in first', so proper cleave strat is 'do most damage, on who dies in last'.


    Ironically, following that logic, most optimal practical strat for bucc cleave in cwkpq is spamming energy blast when bubble is up, and spamming SSK when bubble is off, so can get bubble again asap. what a joke. 4th job skills deserve more respect.
