Windows XP/Vista/7 Virus Detected?

    The new patch I downloaded says that it found a trojan virus in the maplestory software.. Has anyone else experienced this? I think it might be a false trigger but I want to make sure that I'm not the only one that their computer is saying there is a virus with the maplestory. Any help would be appreciated

    Yes this is normal for MapleLegends. It takes a few days after a new patch for us to get the files whitelisted by defenders.

    so does that mean members who use windows must wait a few more days to be able to launch the game?

    You can add the file as an exception to your anti-virus software or you can add the entire maplelegends folder as an exclusion (this is what I do) and you should be able to play. But please don't allow these exceptions/exclusions if you don't feel comfortable doing so.

    the thing is, when i download the file and install it, the only app that appears in the folder is the maplelegends compressed. the regular maple legends app does not appear. do u have any idea of the possible reason or the way to fix this? cuz i believe that is the problem.
