    Hi all!

I'm Kolaila, a player who plays Maplelegends on and off. After seeing this thread I decided to give Maplelegends a go again by joining this challenge! Excited to see how far I get and where the emotional rollercoaster that is the cardhunting game will take me!
I have absolutely no experience with 'diary' posts and have zero screenshot/edit skills but I hope to learn as I go. Tips are always welcome! Still, apologies in advance for any bad formatting/editting SlimeSweat2.
Also I don't have a lot of playing time, so I don't expect to post too much, but I will keep you updated as I go! :)

Today I started by creating my character. I've decided to go the route of the marksman, simply cause I don't know the class yet, sounds fun!

Just like some others I had my first cry on Maple Island. I have to say, the shroom card hurt an awful lot SlimeXD

My second cry came when I started the true cardhunt at 'right around Lith Harbor'.

I ended the day with another cry, one not accompanied by a screenshot. Although I do have 4/5 slimecards now, I have collected 15(!) blue snail and 3 red snail cards in the meantime.
Looking forward to hunting that last slime card and then trying for the stump route!

Took advantage of my days off so already ready for another update!

Map 1: Right around Lith Harbor.
So it took me a little while longer, but I finished my slime cards! It wasn't too bad and then it was on to the stump wall..

After reading the posts before here I was prepared for a long time at the stumps. I mostly did small sessions of 1h - 1h30 and it was quite enjoyable actually. Right up until the last card. That little sucker took me like 150 tree branches to get. Made me think of Ayan and 'the stump horror story'. I have to say that it seems like quite a fitting name for this challenge as well....

Anyhow, I conquered the stump wall and now it's on to pigs and after that mushrooms in zipangu, hopefully finally get a weapon upgrade as well!

    Hi all!
It's been a little over a week and it's time for my next post!

Map 3: Thicket around the Beach ll
After the stumps the piglets were a breeze! Got both at a similar pace and it went by quite fast. Next I was off to get some Orange Mushroom cards. I followed suit and went to Zipangu.

    Map 4: Zipangu: Mushroom Forest
Still rocking my beginners bow I figured I'd best focus on Orange Mushrooms. I wanted to get to Henesys as soon as possible so Orange Mushrooms and Shrooms were my main object. Considering I completely forgot about the Green Mushrooms at henesys hunting ground, it was quite a neat idea. In theory. In reality I had a flashback to my 'Just around Lith Harbor' experience and had a proper cry.

As I was closing in on level 28, I decided to hit that target, then get a bow upgrade in Thailand and get back to slay some Blue Mushrooms as well! Heading towards Spinel, I got my 5th Orange Mushroom card and instead of going back to Zipangu after visiting Thailand I decided to head to the Mushroom Garden for Shrooms to gain acces to Henesys.

Map 5: Hidden Street: Mushroom Garden
With my upgraded weapon and lovely droprate, this was the fastest mob so far and Henesys was unlocked!

    Map 4: Zipangu: Mushroom Forest
After running around for a bit in Henesys, doing some Gach, buying some petfood, I decided to go back to Zipangu for the Blue Mushrooms. It took me a long time to get my second card, but the rest followed quickly. I tried for a short while to do some Crows, but they were super annoying and instead I decided to go for the stumps right away.

    Map 4.png

With the Blue Mushroom set completed I also gained acces to the Nautilus! However, I didn't go there yet. I wanted to unlock Ellinia first and then do a round of easy quests in my 3 unlocked towns.

Map 6: The Forest South of Ellinia
So yeah. Part 2 of 'the stump horror story'. Even though the spawnrate and such was awful, I actually didn't mind it that much. I did it at a chill pace; chatting with some passing strangers, getting my job advancement, watching some telly, and after a couple of hours I got my 5 cards. The road to Ellinia was free!

    map 6.png

As I planned earlier, I decided to do some quests, try to get some Mano cards (no luck) and started unlocking the path to Perion by hunting some Dark Stump. After seeing the spawns in 'the Field up North of Ellinia' I decided to try my luck in Amoria instead!

Map 7: Hidden Street: Purple Plains 2.
Not trying to kill the Sakura Cellions I simply focused on killing the Dark Stumps. I discovered I kinda suck at being a bowman, but hey! At least I'm having fun, right!? Turns out the droprate for Dark Stump cards isn't that bad (thankfully) and it didn't take me too long to complete 'the stump horror story part 3'! I completely forgot to screenshot my leaves at that moment, but I believe I had around 175.
    Map 7.png

Now onto 'the stump horror story part 4' featuring the Dark Axe Stumps. After that I might either go immediately for Wild Boars to unlock Perion or chill in China for a bit. We'll see where the road takes me!
