Can you have more than one shop in the market ?

Yeah but you can only put up a shop once for each character at a time
So if you want to have multiple shops going you need multiple characters at least level 16 that have purchased a merchant from the cash shop~

 

People can open more than one application of the game and play on all of them at once bby alt+tabbing to different applications.

If you've seen some shops open by the same name/person its most likely them using a similar name by using different letters that make it look exactly the same.

Examples are and vice versa
w > vv (two v's)
lowercase i > capital l
lowercase rn (RN) > lowercase m (M)
lowercase g (G) > lowercase q (Q)
lowercase t (T) > lowercase f (F)
lowercase cl (CL) > lowercase d (D)

example names

Tortellini can be capital i or lowercase L, lowercase t can be f.
Kimberly can be rn and capital i

People tend to use these types of names to scam people in games, however in this server you don't have to worry that much since staff are aware of these types of names, to report people in the forums visit this link https://forum.maplelegends.com/index.php?forums/report-abuse.90/ be sure to screenshot the entire client, cropped images won't suffice recording a video during rolls (gambling using Roll # you can use this out of PQs once you're level 50) using @GM in game can also help but it can take time to receive a reply.
