Temple of time - Oblivion mobs ice weakness

    Higher HP = Higher Exp (a lvl 150 F/P should be able to almost 100% 1 hit the Fire weak Qualms, While I as a lvl 162 I/L would have a 0% chance of 1 hitting the Oblivion mob if it was Ice weak.)

    And as seen the Strengths and weaknesses of the mobs just doesn't add up

    If you think of fire and ice objectively, you will conclude that fire beats ice. Logic tells you in a duel there is only one winner or it's a tie :^)
    Fire wins, Ice loses -> Fire strong against Ice and Ice weak against Fire
    So be thankful Neckson made it normal instead

    Melting, it stops being ice, so it's a defeat for the ice anyways.
    I talked about logic because it's a reason for not adding ice weakness to oblivion mobs.
    What balance do you possibly need? If you make i.l archmages go from 2 shotting to 1 shotting oblivion mobs it is insanely unbalanced because of the exp difference. If you 100% 2hit before and after the change, then why change it at all? You might say to "help lower levels 2 shot", ToT isn't a great map for mages to begin with, just go to skeles to level then go to ToT when you are ready OR you can get better int gear. I.L and F.P archmages are balanced

    I've pointed out how F/P got buffed after dmg was increased twice in this Thread, and F/p was was Stronger to begin with.

    But it doesn't apply to this situation...stop being so stubborn. LionheartLionheart already told you that even if the damage cap got increased, how does that help f.p archmages at qualm mobs at all if the maximum hp those mobs have are 99k (not even the old damage cap) That argument doesn't apply to this thread's suggestion since it's about balancing oblivion and qualm with f.p and i.l archmages

    If the dmg cap was still 99k you could have Ifrit going 1 hitting mobs after that to increase EPM or kill them with 1 chain lightning to save MP.

    But since dmg cap increase has heavily buffed F/Ps DMG on all mobs (cept prolly Fire Weak mobs which F/P deals more dmg to than I/L deals to Ice weak mobs prior to buff) having I/L be able to lvl faster is just fair so they could reach try to reach dmg at almost the same pace (F/P is stronger in the end anyways)

    k, if I/L deals 150k with Blizz on Zak arms with optmized is equips F/P would deal 170k....
    am I the only one who thinks that is a strong buff to F/P and a light buff to I/L (kinda a Nerf)

    Woah buddy, first of all we weren't talking about zakum. We're talking about ToT and making the oblivion mobs weak to ice because you feel you don't do enough damage there...

    Second, Meteor and Blizzard should be doing the SAME damage on any zakum arms or mobs which are neutral to fire/ice.

    Thirdly. I still don't think you get what I'm saying.

    Do zakum arms have less than 99,999 HP? Oh, no they do not. And since most arms are neutral to ice/fire, one is weak to fire, and one is weak to ice, it doesn't make a difference.

    1. Meteor Shower deals more than Blizzard
    2. I've dealt 100k+ on Ice weak zak Arm
    3. we r talking about something that will potentially add a earlier "1 hit skeles" for I/Ls when F/P already has an earlier "1 hit skeles" than I/L at Nest Left Behind and an overall dmg buff.
    ToT or not a buff is a buff

    It doesn't make sense meteor hits more than blizzard, but even if it does:
    It doesn't matter to THIS THREAD'S SUGGESTION. It's irrelevant because we are talking about ToT, not higher damage to arms or 1hit skeles...
    Make a new thread to talk about those things if you want since they are completely off topic.
