Information Forum Themes Revamp

Hello ~

We have done a revamp on the forum themes. We felt like this was long needed and well, it's finally here! There are currently 5 themes available; 3 light ones and 2 dark ones. Perhaps there will be more in the future. To select between the different themes, you can scroll to the bottom of the page and click the name of the current theme, like so:

The new one is cute, but im really used to the old one

Only thing that looks odd is the 'Staff Member' 'Administrator' and 'Game Moderator' ribbons. I personally like the colouring and blending of the 'Staff Member' ribbon as it feels part of the theme and blends in well. However the 'Adminsitrator' and 'Game Moderator' ribbons feel a bit too vibrant. For the red used in 'Administrator' I feel eithere the colour used in 'Spoiler' tags or 'Moderator Post' buttons would be better suited. With regards to 'Game Moderator' ribbon I would say either 'soften' the colour a bit so it blends in more with its 'edge' colour. That being said I suck with UI so god knows how you'd make it better or whether it is just me that finds it peculiar.

Either way I am sticking with it and will just try and get used to it .

Edit: I can only say this for the 'Dark Blue' Theme.

 

They all look cool (light-pastel is amazing ). Maybe it's just me but the missing boarders really freak me out lol. Just because of that I'm sticking to the old UI...

Anyone else feeling the same way?

 

Definitely love the dark theme, much less of a strain on the eyes especially when playing very late at night like I do.

The only thing I'm a bit iffy about is not seeing the people's info on the left anymore without hovering above their name; I liked seeing who they are in-game/their guild at a quick glance, while the rest of the information wasn't so important.

Also a tiny detail, but on the dark theme, the ''Users who are viewing this thread'' lines are almost invisible.

 

Loved the light-default, simple and easy to the eyes

 

Light - Grey is by far my favourite theme.

 

i really like the new lay-out. it's refreshing!
im going for the light-default. keeping the background we're all used to but with a nicer and smoother interface =)

 

The hovering has been disabled and the font colour for the "users viewing thread" thing has been fixed.

Well I guess the forum theme is ok. Still getting used to it myself. Avatar pictures are HUGE. Now everyone can admire GilDesuka beautiful work and my handsome avatar.
