Free market uncertainty

you shouldnt be buying scrolls at 3x-4x anyway.
Scrolls are for the rich. They are luxury goods, not a necessity.

 

Not related to FM but i started a mage and received yellow work gloves. A player who buddied me right after i started asked me if i sell this work gloves. I pretended to be a newb and don't know anything about the prices.

He offered me 50k and said it is a good price and probably too high.

I know this is a minority, but i hate those players!

"merching" is part of the game, if you encounter someone that seems to be taking advantage of you, you can simply close the trade window/unfriend him

 

What? I always do that. People just grind at the wrong spots and don't make any money at low lvl. Move your ass to Masks in Perion. They drop (60%) cape int, ear int, spear attk and staff attk.

 

It's not about getting him banned, he cant be banned for that. It is about letting us know who's the jerk.

LOL no. I got a shitload of scrolls from quests before I reached lvl 40.

 

For starters, buy a store.

I really don't understand the complaint about getting ripped off. Just do your research about what the price is like first. If you are too lazy or impatient to do so... is that really the buyers fault? At the end of the day, nothing happens until you willingly press that trade button. So be smart and patient with your sales.

 

Sellers always want the highest price for goods.
Buyers always want the lowest price for goods.

I dont see the complaint.

If you wanna sell at the market price youre gonna have to wait, you're expecting fast sales without lowering your price which is kinda silly.

 

That's my entire point. If you want the right price you have to buy a shop, find a good spot and be patient. You can't expect to just march in free market entrance and sell all your stuff at the right value. Guess what, 500 other people are trying to sell things too.

And if you find it hard to wait, you're gonna have to sell it for a lower price.

 

Why should you care as long as you're smart enough to not be swindled by those crooks? Be a little realistic; average scroll prices and items are only an ESTIMATE, meaning buying/selling prices do not have to conform at all to those numbers. Besides, even you'd want to buy as cheap as possible (without going too low in prices so that you don't end up feeling bad about yourself) so don't be a hypocrite. Everybody in any game with an economy wants to get rich quick, everybody wants the most godly items and equips.

 

TBH this game's economy/market blows, but it's survivable with the +lv45 gacha.
