PQ revamp (GPQ,OPQ)

I had to literally beg people to OPQ a couple days ago it took me one day of not finding anyone then a couple hours the next day I had to beg people at LMPQ and some friends to try it literally impossible to do it again without a solid group, so I'm all for this idea. Or maybe add more PQs soon because MapleLegends is kinda dry in the PQ department well for later levels that is, I was more of a PQer than a grinder back in my GMS days but that was just me, it's also a great way to meet new people because not many talk much when grinding which can get a bit boring but I see people always talking during PQs.

 

maybe having hunting gach a possible drop from bonus stages? Idk, never had an incentive to do either PQ and this would definitely change that

 

I like that idea. They would have to be player specific drops ofcourse.

 

I mean.... They're hunting tickets, not PQ tickets. Doesn't really feel like they should drop from a bonus stage box. Just adding some gacha exclusive items to it seems more fitting.

 

Okay, I have another suggestion, how about adding good potions to the PQ rewards? I know.. hear me out.
If you could get one these rewards:

• 200 melting cheese (4k HP)
• 200 sunrise dew (4k MP)
• 20 VitroJuice (14 att for 15 minutes)

as a reward I'm sure a lot of players would consider doing PQs.
And if you don't need the pots and would rather have mesos, you could just sell them to an NPC for 2,2k~810k mesos.

 

...those aren't really good potions. It's probably more profitable to just sell them off to buy NLC pots.

Except the vitro juice. Kind of. If you're going to do that, might as well add a good matk version too.

 

What about these potions for OPQ:

• 200 Green Malady's Candy (50% HP & MP)
• 30 Edmund's Special Brew

And these for GPQ:

• 200 Blue Malady's Candy (100% HP & MP)
• 20 Merlin Orbs 40 m. att for 15 minutes
• 30 NitroJuice 22 w. att for 10 minutes

 

I don't know what's with all the halloween stuff, but it's pretty much elixirs and power elixirs. I think too many.

But people aren't going to do these PQs just for that. They can already buy ginseng roots and ginger ales.

 

They sell for 1 meso, it was to not introduce more mesos to the market.
Let's scrap the HP/MP potions then.
You'd get attack potions everytime.

 

Not sure how youd do it for gpq, you break boxes like ludi bonus for a reward, the npc at the end doesnt give you anything so im not sure how you think giving out these items like this would be possible

 

No idea. I'm just throwing my ideas out there.

EDIT: Another suggestion:

How about we add INT scrolls?
Everyone pretty much needs these one way or another which is why they are so damn expensive atm.
You either need them for damage as a mage or you need them for HP washing.
I see how this could be seen as only helping mages, but it really isn't only that.
It would also help all the other classes get a better experience HP washing.

 

With the magic of programming, anything is possible!

If they wanted to have the NPC at the end give out an additional reward, it should be relatively easy. Box drops can be edited as well.

 

is it possible to raise the level cap of OPQ? i really wanted to do it, and waited for 3 weeks and finally went past level 70. Now there are new players wanting to do OPQ, but i cant join anymore.

If this is done, I would argue that the quests related to OPQ needs their level cap removed aswell.

 

Tbh I just think an exp boost and a better reward would suffice.

 

This is basically what we are suggesting. Except for the exp boost, since no one seems to want that for some reason.

 

Yea I think exp is the biggest reason people don't do it, but yea they need to add something better on the glove maybe +1 all stats too? Idunno just something, or just have the goddess shoe as well as an incentive.

 

The glove should be something like....

5 watk
7 matk
+3 all stats

5 slots.

That would be... kinda decent!

Almost as good as a BWG that started with 2x 30% scrolls. Except you only get one shot to scroll it.
