Adding Facestompers and making Red Socks permanent

I agree, with the current situation this would save a lot of time & would increase the content / gameplay for the new players. It would give them a new goal, something to work towards that is 100% infact end-game content. Very nice suggestion. I hope it goes through.

 

Yea i wouldn't mind if Perm Facestompers became a thing. Keeping the red socks temporary of course.

How long does the socks last for before they expire?

I think socks are a tad bit OP (if it's the 7 slot 1 attack ones I'm thinking of) but I'd probably feel inclined to agree with Facestompers being added. Maybe tweaked a bit so it's harder to get than just acquiring the itcg items and doing the quest though.

If we add facestompers, you'll be able to get a much higher attack range. Have you put any thought into a way to balance that? Like nerfing apples attack or removing att scrolls for gloves.

 

That's the whole point, increasing your attack range. The question is where you draw the line (if any) equipment wise. It's very GMS like to keep adding new equips for sure though.

 

The problem with those kinds of items is that they make every other item same lvl or higher in that slot obsolete killing alot of content and sense of progression. Plus you lose the distinction between jobs (nx already had that covered though).

Just to give you an example. I don't care either way since I don't play much anymore.

 

Of all the changes taking place recently, adding facestompers would be among the least OP things. I never understood why this server didn't have ITCG items.
