Completed Scheduled Maintenance - October 6, 2017

Hello Maplers,

We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on Friday October 6, 2017. It will last approximately 1~3 hours Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play!

5 PM UTC (Server time)

What will be unavailable:

• All MapleLegends game servers and channels

Events

• The release of Halloween 2017 Event (Details at maintenance))
• +10% EXP, Mesos, and drops during whole Halloween

New content

• The release of Ninja Castle (level 25 ~ 180 (Details at maintenance)
• The release of the Taiwan expansion Taipei 101 (level 67 ~ level 100) (Details at maintenance)

Client Changes

• Face/Hair ID limitation cracked and disabled
• Monsterbook hotkey now supports our .img client
• Unused MapleTV data removed related to Global MapleStory

General Changes

• The quest The Path of <job> in Lith Harbor, as well as a few Maple Island quests have their EXP been lowered slightly to prevent over-leveling
• Transparent items in Cash Shop have their price reduced (Used DP-points will be automatically refunded during maintenance)
• Refreshing Blue Potion Chair now heals 100 MP and Passionate Red Potion Chair now heals 100 HP.
• Dragon mount cover's prone animation changed to look more natural
• 2 new MapleTV animations created by Yozich
• New GTOP banner created by Yozich
• Slimes will have their appearance changed to Halloween Style (Drop appearance) created by Slime
• Bald Head hairstyle added to Mu Lung Hair Salon (VIP)
• Taipei 101 Beauty Parlor coupons added to the Cash Shop (which styles coming soon in guide)

New files

This is a patch maintenance and new files will be made available. You need to download them in order to play.

Patch files

A patcher will be made available for all Windows users. This patcher will be very user friendly and should not error out (unless anti-virus). Simply double clicking it, and patch away. The patcher will be 230mb. No JAVA is required anymore.

Added a bit of info I forgot; people that bought the more expensive transparent items with donor points will have their points automatically refunded.

 

Added the note of Slimes being changed to a Halloween Style, similar as in 2015. Drops appearance created by Slime

 

No vote cash will be refunded because vote cash is actually free and items expire.

 

Its a typo fix. The description and actual healing was mismatching. Its a buff.

 

Unfortunately we tried multiple queries in past and concluded this can only be manually fixed 1 by 1 with in-game commands. As such, we will soon provide the GM's instructions on how to fix people manually when they request it.
