fire/Poison 2nd Job AOE FireArrow

    Can we make F/P Balanced and make it's fire Arrow AOE like in the V83+?

    Would help alot.

    Clerics can AOE Heal, I/L got their Lightning. Fire Arrow with hitting 6 Mobs would make the world real easier :)

    Each magician subclass has its own strengths, weaknesses, and unique points. Do you think it's fair to F/Ps if I/Ls could inflict DoT with lightning attacks?

    I dunno, do you think it's fair that I/L have 2 useful attack skills in second job, and F/Ps have one? As is, fire arrow is strictly worse than magic claw. 2nd job grinding on F/P is a mess. You have no boss damage, but you also have no aoe. Having a strong one hit, single target skill like fire arrow is completely worthless, because F/Ps grind by poisoning everything on the map and then slowly one shotting them one by one when they have 1hp. Magic Claw is better for this purpose currently because the actual damage of the skills doesn't matter. What matters is magic claw hits twice, giving two confirm attempts per cast of killing, say, a DT.

    Six is maybe too much, but having fire arrow explode and hit maybe 2-3 enemies would give people a reason to put points in.

    Holy Arrow is generally useless for clerics, and I/Ls have a shitty skill in Thunderspear at 3rd job. Every class has their fair share of useless skills, so I'm not sure what your point is. At any rate, the situation improves significantly for F/Ps at higher levels. You just need to hang in there at the start and you'll reap the rewards of your patience.

    I agree partially that 2nd job grinding on F/P is a mess. It starts off badly, but by lvl 60 you should be able to train at Death Teddies, based on this guide.

    I found Explosion to be far better than Poison attacks. Slow, yes. Annoying when hit with push-back, yes. But when that thing is maxed, it really doesn't matter if you're pushed back, and the speed of attack isn't that much of a detraction - at least for me. Yeah, F/P at the early stages sucks. It might be different here on ML, but I remember on GMS that F/P had the best damage at 4th Job, making them 1hko Skeles sooner than any other mage class. I totally agree, though, it does suck to play a F/P Wizard. The only class I disliked more than this one was the Brawler.

    Given the fact that F/P 3rd job is a easy road down, I think the grind towards 3rd job is justifiable. No reason to make fire arrow a AOE attack. Cleric's heal damage is garbage but noone seems to complain about it either.
