Multi-logging is not banned, but multi-clienting is patched so to do that you need 2 machines. Don't think it's written specifically in the rules though.

What do you think should be changed, improved, or done differently? This is just a personal concern of mine: It would be great if you could comment about your opinion on leech, it's probably not a thing yet,
but in another v62 server where I was active this caused some discussion. If you don't know what I'm referring too, basically getting leeched
by a bishop is faster than training yourself from around 70-140. This can be a huge motivation killer for some so it would just be good if you
could tell us what your opinion on this is.

Spoiler: My Rant/Opinion

I dislike the fact that leeching is faster than grinding. IMO most MMORPGs should not have leeching as a possibility (most MMO excludes those games where intermediate levels don't matter, where people just rush to the level cap and start raiding/PvP/other end game content. Often these games don't require much grinding, simply quest your way till level cap). All leechers have to do is AFK and they get exp (idle game much?). Leeching spoils the value of levels (Level 80? Level 120? What's the difference, you can get there quickly via leech!) as well as the main purpose of the game, which is to play (grind) it. Partying with people and training together for more combined exp is okay and encourages socialising and making friends and playing the game together. But having a system where a lower levelled player can AFK and receive more exp from a higher levelled player than if he grinded alone is a huge flaw in the game design.

It's half the reason I quit Royals; everyone started buying/obtaining leech from level 75 onwards, and people kept asking for leech. Everyone hops online hoping they can snag a few hours of leech off a friend. After 75 it doesn't take much personal effort to level up if you have many friends willing to leech you. In fact, it might be beneficial for the Bishop who's giving leech as well, since in 2-man party HS grants 50% exp, which means the Bishop gets more exp (even after splitting with the AFK) than he would do alone. What the fuck Neckson.

I'm interested to hear if anyone feels that leeching is a good thing in a game.

 

No I hate leeching. I'm not one to talk though really since I was a bishop on Royals, but hey it was for money. I know that MapleDestiny has some sort of leechguard system where you get a very very reduced amount of exp unless you do damage to the mob. If we were to implement this though it could make it so that training in a party isn't very efficient, which isn't close to the v62 feel.
