I will raise the point now that there's no bloody way that you're hitting 130k per star on a NL in v62. Impossible. >.> Just so we're clear. At 720 LUK with HS and a NRC, I can hit a 10k crit. The max possible WA you can possibly achieve including buff from pots would probably be, on a dexless sin around 191, and that's with a BWG at 21 wa, a NRC at 80, plus OA. Damage values are different in current MS. They changed everything after BB, I know personally because a lv 90 Sin with crappier equipment than my NL did here was hitting 14k per star... Lv 90. With worse equipment. >u>

I rmb Snipe used to deal 99k or a bit less. Don't know if or when that was changed. Also Marksmen specialise in mobbing and not bossing, so the difference in snipe damage, although it would make bossing easier, wouldn't make them useless imo. I'd pick MM over BM personally.

And also I feel the same as betwixt. 130k crit needs really godly equips to become within reach. I never thought that was possible on v62.

I wil lnote you can probably get about 7 or 8 more with a PAC, but, that's not gonig to amke enough fo a difference. At 191 you're probably doing, at the most, around... 25k per star on a crit?

Ok so lets break it into details.
-Dmg formula for NL was the same in 83 and 62.
-I meant dmg with Se and apple
-The different between V62 and V83 its the hammers , Pac with 4Att can have max of 24Att , i had 28att .
-The secend different between V62 And V83 its the medals , i had medal that gives 10Att.
-i quited DMS 6months ago and i was considered on 3 place as strongest NL by range , now iam on the 11 spot , top range is this :

-So yes u probly wont able to get such range on V62 , But the difference is not that huge , and iam pretty sure with end gear u can hit
Around 10-11.5k range , and with my 13.9k range on DMS i did 130k's x 6 by theory (TT never doing perf 6 crit hits of top dmg) but alteast 3/6 were in range of 100-130k
-So i can say that a NL here with end gear can hit by theory 100k x 6 on SE & Apple

 

Maybe I'm a dummy, but I'm pretty sure that with Shadow Partner, half of your stars are halved in damage?

 

You're also forgetting Blessing. So that's, what, another, what, 20 WA? With hamemrs you can potentially get to something like... an extra 20-30 WA? another 10 with said medal, ok. What weapon were you using? Was it GM scrolled? Plus,t he maker skill was a thing too, which meant there was enhanced items and the like. :V There's a huge difference, and I didn't realize ytou were talkiing about a v83 server, I figured DMS referred to something like a legitimate Neckson server. Topkek.

 

There wasn't really any need to start a huge argument over this, was there? Even if it was technically possible to hit as high as 130k per star (which it isn't) with absolutely perfect gear, stats and buffs, it's not realistic at all. Realistically you'll probably never even get close to half of that on a GMS-like v62 server. Because unless we start getting spoonfed by the GMs on here, which seems highly unlikely from what I've seen and heard so far, there will be an extremely limited supply of any sort of remotely "godly" equipment, as well as the supplies required to make such equipment.


Here's a couple of pre-BB videos of NLs with SE30 and Apple. Not sure exactly what version these are from, but they seem to be reasonable enough comparisons.

Obviously far from perfect gear, but still very good. Gear is listed in the description.


Probably using some of the best gear available at the time, still barely breaks 50k. And yes, he's using SE30/Apple.

 

Gm Scrolled ? no , DMS is Maple Destiny , GMS-Like V83 still alive , all gear scrolled legit (ws + 10%'s)
And please dont tell me 130k per star is not possiable , because its fact i did on dms ..
And on Global back then there is no people that were even close to 15k range
The only limit is time , DMS is alive for 2 years
