What job are you choosing? (official release)

I'm gonna low-ball it and say hunter since it'll take months before I'm even close to hitting 70.

 

I changed my mind... think i'll try another mage class b4 i go for hero...

 

I'm sticking with beginner. All other classes suck.

I hate how each class in this game has very contrasting advantages and disadvantages for each one, so it makes it difficult to pick one and stick with it. Even when I thought I picked the best one for me, later on I might start thinking "maybe this is the wrong class for me" or sth like that. But if I chose a class and then I change my mind so fast, I'd never reach a high level/make much progress. I had this issue back on GMS, where I had many low level characters but none of which I reached over 70 or so. I guess the key is to just accept the fact that no class in this game is perfect and all classes have their flaws. You just choose the one that its flaws matter/affect you the least. I learned that the hard way fellas. Look at the glass half full not half empty...that kind of thing.

edit - almost forgot to say what class I'm choosing, haha. Well at the moment, I'm not so sure...Still thinking about it.

 

On other servers I really like the f/p mage but since this is the version 62 I think I have to skip it because it wasn't til later versions that the fire arrow skill became a minor mob skill.
On this server I think it's back to the old 1 monster at a time, making the f/p the slowest to level up to it's third job when it gets it's first mob skill.
I don't know what to choose now.

 

They, along with thieves, are the only class to not have a mob skill by 2nd job (if you count heal as mob skill). But they have poison brace which can be used to train at higher levelled mobs which may or may not allow you to level up faster than others. You can watch @Spaceman 's OB videos for a gist of it.

 

There are a lot of spearmen so far but I gotta go with that. This class has been my favorite since GMS, played it on two other servers and now I'll play it here. Fav class so ^_^
