Cool, Forum mod had to delete Franco's posts already for insulting, nothing wrong with mine =)

 

Can't get the patcher to work on either of my computers

14:24:16 > Patching error
> (IOException) Access is denied

What does this mean? I can't run as admin so I'm pretty sure it has all permissions upon execution by default.

You're not using your files are you? (Have the client open)

 

I am not. I changed the permissions of all groups and users for the MapleLegends folder and it worked. I guess you have to give permissions for the patcher to modify files in the folder manually (at least in my case). Anyone running Windows that can't get the patcher to work, try doing this.

I assume I have to delete the original item.wz before putting the new one in? Not sure if I'm supposed to as it downloaded as Item.wz(1) for me.

Did you already have a file called Item.wz in your downloads?

 

Did you rename it back to item.wz instead of item.wz(1)?

They don't want you to have the right files. jkjk
