Poll: Islander

The idea of them having access to FM kills the purpose of an Islander.

This poll should allow multiple votes as well.

 

Not entirely, they could make it so that Islanders can't loot and trade and such in the Free Market. All it adds is a place for Islanders to interact with more people.

 

I feel even though this probably won't be a popular opinion I should express what I think.
Inclusion on events I feel is a no-brainer, but as something new I voted on Bosses.

My reasoning for this is it creates a goal, much like zakum or horntail.
Imagining a map with a single mushmom, requiring 10 or more islanders to all go up against (20,000 hp is no joke) with maybe even 24 hour spawn time. Perhaps with modified drops to pertain to islanders.

 

Where is the 'none of the above' option? I can't seem to find it.

edit: or is it the first one? That seems a bit misleading. The poll question is asking What would get you to invest time on an islander, so the 1st option seems to be saying that things are fine and you already would play an islander with no changes.

Could you make this multiple options? I voted cosmetics, but I'd like to see islanders included in suitable events as well.

 

Exactly. So if the poll and islandering in general don't pertain to you why do you respond? Normally people ignore things that don't interest them...

 

If you can change the poll options, I think the first should be, "I already would play an islander without any changes." Then you need another option. "None of these will get me to play an islander."

The poll asks,
What would make you Invest time in an Islander?

And this clearly seems directed at people who don't play islanders.

 

If there was a none option, it would at least give some idea of how much of the actual server population cares about islanders. A poll result of 50% wanting bosses would be misleading compared to if everyone got a vote, and then you see maybe only 5% of everyone on the server even want that.

Oh, you. This is that attitude I've been talking about and how you offend people.

The only thing I didn't understand was how what you said mattered. Guess I gave you too much credit.

Sure, not everyone on the server camps forums 24/7 like you. But it doesn't necessarily mean that changes the results of the poll. If only 1/5 of the server actually visit the forums, they are just as likely to be pro-islander as they might be anti-islander. So regardless of how many people actually visit the forums compared to actual server population, it doesn't really matter.
