Would like to get something going atleast. Maybe make it longer to accomodate for both Valentines and Easter.

 

Oh right... forgot all about that valentine event which was promised but never came.

 

it would just be dumb to throw it in the end of march lol just put roses somewhere and call it even

I`d like this event more: https://forums.mapletip.com/index.php?/topic/49150-easter-event-quest-guide-gms/. With eggs which you can trade in for limited by time (90 days, just as usual) safety charms and golden eggs which give you some exp, rather than a whole 15% bonus exp overall.

 

From the looks of the current situation, I doubt the staff have enough time to implement that event^^, but I would sure love that 15% xp event

 

There were never any events promised. All that was mentioned was a patch named "Valentine's patch" as it was planned to come out around that day.

 

I'd much rather wait for something for that time of year like we had at halloween and xmas along with the 15% buff.

15% buff alone is just plain and kindof contradicts the purpose of a low rate server.

If it wasn't season event related, it would have been adressed as "next patch". Otherwise there is no reason to promise a date for a patch and risk people being disappointed for not releasing it. This is just an educated guess though.

It doesn't contradict the point of the server, this server is gms like and gms had many exp events. EXP events also give people intensive to train that haven't trained in a long time and can also bring back players who may have taken a break. It's good for the community all round and doesn't have to last too long.

Since 1st anniversary is coming for ML, why not just wait for that to happen. I am sure there will be exp buffs and things like that at that time... For now I`d just like a easter event with quests.. nothing more

 

You are asking too much, quests take time, time is something the stuff does not have, thus exp event is the answer. If they had time, something, even if minimal, would have been done about Valentines by now. Thus we can conclude that the best way to atleast give us some kind of event would be an exp event. Be it for late Valentines or for easter, doesn't matter. Like Zeretius said, an exp event is something that does not take long to implement at all.
I would rather get an exp event than go through another "holiday/event season" without anything happening. Which is why I agree with this idea.

 

Everyone already has 2x cards that are unlimited and take up no inventory space.
