I really wish this was updated more, does anyone know how he gathered this data? Then I might give it a go one day.

Maybe put a lvl (140 for example ) in between 120 and 150, seems like a huge jump right now imo

Here's how all the top players, level 150 and above look:

 

My level 62 Gunslinger is ranked way higher in Pirate rankings than my level 127 I/L is ranked in Magician rankings.

 

i'll probably comb through these and make one solely based on active players but this is nice to know

 

Yeah I was thinking there might be a slight difference if we only look at active players... although my theory is that the ratios will be the same.

Anyway, how do you plan on determining who is active or not?

 

When I finally get all 12 of my chars to 4th Job, it should have an interestingly minor impact on the proportions. =o)

 

Add +1 drk and +1 BM. Fine and Life, never forget Kappa

 

the general criteria for active would be well:

log on semi regularly (biweekly?)
kill mobs semi regularly
OR
participate in community activities (such as merching, community events, talking to others)

a lot of this will be anecdoctal to be honest

 

Yeah well that's the issue. I know a lot of time in guilds, you wonder if someone is active, and sometimes you never see some person at all, but another person might have seen them... different time zones and all.

So I'm just saying it would be pretty hard to know for sure who is "active" or not. Does just AFKing in the FM count, even if they don't kill mobs?

 

if you include "logging on to afk" then the sample size would be larger (obviously).
really depends on what criteria fit under "not afk" for what type of result you want to see
