Not a Bug Jay's curiosity subquest bug

    Hello i've been doing the quest Jay's curiosity and I have a problem with it. I've done the 3 subquests of gwin, the rememberer and grendel tha really old but I cannot seem to start the subquest of bruce which I have to do in order to finish the quest Jay's curiosity. Can someone help me out here, maybe I did something wrong?

    It does but I alrdy finished that subquest. I have done all of them except the one from bruce and that one I cannot start

    To start the bruce one you need do one other quest, don't know right now in head which though.

    I think kimberly might be talking about the quest from Ayan, then finding Bruce's daughter.... yes, they are one and the same.

    Could be because the quest got changed in v83? I don't know, but alot of quests on there aren't right.

    I dont know whether I should make a new topic about this but I found out that I cannot start the quest 'I need to find my daughter'. I did finish the quest 'the reason behind the mushroom studies' and according to hidden-street that one was the only pre-requisity... I haven't been to Ayan yet but the quest is in none of my quest tabs and Bruce has no lightbulb or reading mark above his head. It might be that I started the quest 'I need to find my daughter' and that I dropped the toy sword I need for the quest afterwards and I removed the quest from my quest tab and after which it didnt re-appear in my 'available' questtab, but I can't remember doing that.
    Oh and I still cannot finish Jay's curiosity, I've tried dropping the shell and then getting a new one but it just didn't work.

    It also requires the Stump Horror story from.... you guessed it: Ayan. ;)

    bbb.hidde-street.net can be too... indated? (opposite of outdated)

    data in bbb.hs is from v80 or v90+, which may have been different from v62 time so it's not always fully reliable. MapleTip.com would be better for info related to quests.

    Jay's curiosity was originally bugged in v0.62 (even official servers), so bbb in this case is most accurate.

    Alright thanks for helping me, I've finished the quest. I had to do the quest 'stump horror story' and the quest of finding bruce's daughter before I could start the subquest of Bruce. I do still have a question though and I have it with most of my quests. When I finish a quest by giving the npc a quest item I either get the quest item back or the quest item won't disappear from my inventory, is this already known and is it supposed to be like this?
