Notice Regarding Maple Weapons

    Hello Maplers!

    Some time ago (before Maple weapons were introduced as part of the Anniversary events), I altered the accuracy of the Warrior Maple Weapons. This seems to have been applied fine EXCEPT for Spears, 2 handed swords and maces.

    To keep users updated as more people may be rewarded with these weapons, I want to announce that these stat changes will still be applied for the above-mentioned 3 weapon types and this will also impact any existing Maple weapons already received or bought.

    The reason for this change is to balance the benefits gotten from these weapons. I'm sure you are aware that warrior Maple weapons in particular offer an incredible accuracy advantage in terms of Dex saved in addition to the bonus Str given.

    The stat changes for the 3 types of weapons will be similar to the ones already applied.

    I always thought dex gave accuracy. But thanks for the response.

    Dex gives accuracy which means pure accuracy can save you dex which you add to str.

    The nerf will be similar to the other warrior maple weapons done already:

    20/30/35 changed to 10/15/20 (average accuracy, maple weapon level). Which to me is still more than enough.

    Yes, DEX gives accuracy. These maple weapons have tons of accuracy (originally) meaning waaay less DEX is needed to hit shit meaning you can put more points into STR making your warrior way more powerful

    Has this nerf to maple warrior weapons been mentioned anywhere earlier? Because if not i think it shouldve been. I can see that you'd want to keep it a surprise but imo if youre gonna nerf something you should be clear about it instead of stealth nerfing stuff.

    It would be nice if it was announced even if it wasnt bugged. The way it looks now it wouldnt have been announced if it wasnt for this bug.

    I'm glad to see this change. Maple weapons are great to have and they add to the nostalgic value, but god Warriors were OP as fuck early on with Maple items...
