    here i figure out a solution to ddos annoying problem.
    1st：Open CloudFlare DDoS protection And use whitelist mode. only request's ip in whitelist are able to access game sever
    2st: developing a software/plugin/website, we must check our account and password and bot check(recaptcha) by this softweare/plugin/website before we login game, and then our ip are added on DDoS protection whitelist.

    depends on this solution web service and game service are better to deploy on different server

    Someone please donate 30k a year so we can have ddos protection? :D


    Btw whitelist does not aways solve the issue, what would stop them from ddosing the application/website where you register for the whitelist?
    (Although, maybe it would be easier to protect a simple HTTP server from DDOS to facilitate a whitelist? Still may be worth thinking about)

    I think CF DDoS protection can proxy any protocol and doname, i not sure that.


    about your second question, we dont worry it at all. A player just need check successful only once by app/website from DDoS attacks flood, and then he can enjoy game

    While it could proxy any connection, it would require way more resources from cloudflare's end and so it would need a way more expensive package (Like spectrum package). Games are transmitting tons of packets back and forth constantly, especially when compared to a websites where you load one page every few seconds
