Windows 8/8.1/10 Can't exclude exe

I have the issue where I can't download the exe file, can download all the other files. I've tried every which way to exclude the folder and the file itself, but nothing seems to work. Am I doing this wrong?

 

Whether through attempting to "launch" the game after uninstalling and reinstalling the game or sometimes through reinstalling the game, running the installer as admin and all, i always get an error like this that ultimately says there is no MapleLegends.exe

Still doesn't work

There was a MapleLegendsCompressed.exe so i tried double clicking on it, but it just disappeared and autodeleted itself.
On advice from the support channel of the discord, I tried extracting the Client Backup, but the MapleLegends.exe and MapleLegendsCompressed.exe files auto deleted soon after.

 

Yeah sadly I am not tech savvy enough to understand all my programs either or figure out whether I need them or not.
The only thing I can guess on is Webroot SecureAnywhere, but it gives me no options to exclude things or turn off the firewall.

 

Update: I found out where it's blocking the file, but it specifically doesn't allow me to change anything..

 

I've never had any luck in getting my own AV software installed on my pc without it turning out to be itself a malware that fights me when I try to remove it and spams me for months afterwards to upgrade or reinstall. Even when I've taken recommendations on AV software brands. McAfee and malwarebytes both burned me. So I only stick to the AV that someone else installed for me.
