Cant retrieve quest items after dropping them (accidentally)

    Hi there,

    There's some issues as there's once where i accidentally dropped a quest item (etc. a letter that has to be delivered) and usually we can just go back to the NPC and get the item back right?

    But the thing is that I got the message from chat eg: you have received the letter from whoever BUTTT the item didn't appear in my items )):

    Please helppp
