Information Client update: 21/12/2019

Hello,

Our client .dll has changed to version 1.1. This is the second major version since the release of our higher resolution. This is most of the changes for version 1.1.

Added a new resolution: 1024x768:
MapleLegends now fully supports 1024x768!

For those that love higher resolution but thought 1366x768 is a bit too much are probably happy to hear we now fully support 1024x768. We will also make 1024x768 the default resolution for the time being, but of course like before this can be changed in the Legends.ini

Completely re-coded the way screenshots are created in MapleLegends!

When it comes to MapleStory, the way you can take screenshots using Scroll Lock is rather outdated. Not only is it outdated, but it also pushes out disgusting .jpg quality images, something 3rd party tools nowadays can do much better.

What if we just completely re-coded the function and make it the best in-game screenshot tool available of any pre-big bang server at least?

The following has been changed with our in-game screenshot tool~

• When creating a screenshot it's now in a beautiful .png quality
• When creating a screenshot it's now timestamped instead of 'Maple001' and so on
• When taking a screenshot on monitor 2 it now correctly captures the screen there as well
• There's now a screenshot folder in the MapleLegends sub-directory. If this folder doesn't exist, one will be created when taking your first screenshot
• The hotkey to take a screenshot has been moved from Scroll Lock to Print Screen
• The rather pointless check 'you cannot take a screenshot right now. Please try again later' have been stripped from the client, making you be able to make screenshots every single second.
• Most importantly it no longer crashes the client

For any bug reports about this, please let us know! For me, it's perfectly working, but maybe it has problems for other users.

Misc changes:

• The 'darkness' in maps has been fixed for higher resolution (demo: click here)*
  *Thanks to Lily and shavit (=＾● ⋏ ●＾=) from Windia for hints about this in the past.
  
• The quick slot found in the status bar is now the same size as the status bar itself, instead of popping out a little on the top. The quick slot in 800x600 stays the same.
• Fixed a rather dumb bug that caused the 'grey-out' MP/HP fly to position upon logging in
• The item purchase window from the Cash Shop is now correctly centered
• The 'what is your birthday' window from the Cash Shop is now correctly centered
• Behind the scene changes

Note: Unfortunately we haven't found the cause yet why sometimes the client crashes upon opening the game or the Cash Shop. However, what helped us the most to decrease the chance by a lot is running the game as Administrator. You can do so by right-clicking the MapleLegends.exe > Properties > and than selecting the 'Run as Administrator' checkbox.
