Community feedback: NX cards from drops

Should nx cards still drop from mobs & bosses?

    Its time for another community feedback thread, this time about nx cards. Right now, we have nx cards dropping from monsters and bosses. We have received some feedback that some don't like this feature since its not unique to the server and not really balanced. In reality, this feature is a leftover from the base source, and we thought in keeping it. MapleLegends of course tries to be unique too, so we now ask the community what they want.

    If this feature gets removed, it doesn't mean you won't be able to receive "Game Cash" anymore. We can add different, more unique things into our server, example the Rock Paper Scissor NPC, which we were planning to add still anyways.

    Remember guys; think about the server. I know this one is about nx which is something you guys obviously want, but is it balanced or can we improve with a much better system? Let us know what you think about this feature.

    Think there should be different ways of gaining Game Cash.

    As of now, I feel like higher levels have a way higher chance of getting Game Cash, than new / lower-level people. While the low level people are typically the ones who need the NX more.

    As much as I don't like the system, I feel like an achievements system could be a good option for gaining NX, it also gives people something to do.

    No I dont think so. It wont make a huge different if it does. But, the nostalgic feeling XD

    No drops for me. Alternative ways to earn NX would be a more GMS-like choice? Then again amount given out through those ways shouldn't overshadow what players can get from mobs now, or else balance it with the daily vote NX.

    I think they should be removed. Or the drop rate should be significantly lower.

    Going to just move this to accepted to show that it's closed. Kim and I thought it would be better to remove NX Card drops, and start implementing an in-game achievement system for NX, since it would provide us with more control over how Game Cash is distributed to different classes.
