Windows 8/8.1/10 CRU changed my monitor resolution

    I used CRU according to the guide, then restarted my pc to find out my monitor turned itself into a 1080 monitor, while it is a 2560 monitor.
    Neither in display settings or nvidia control panel can I revert my resolution back to 2560 as now 1080 is the recommended and highest resolution possible.

    How do I revert this?

    I'm absolutely stressed out right now

    Edit: changed the prefix. I interpreted guide as 'I need guidance' lol

    I have never heard of someone following that guide having problems. Are you sure you followed it properly? Did you maybe remove the higher resolutions or something? I am not sure if the tool has anything to revert it. Try System Restore to few days before you did the guide?

    System Restore worked, thanks a lot for the quick reply.
