floris' journal

Hi,

It's been a while since I started my previous journal thread. It contains many characters and different approaches to leveling them, but sadly I lost interest in most of them. When pondering whether I even felt like continuing to journal at all, I decided that I would try to think of a format that will hopefully be slightly less intense and more laid back. There were also some changes to the formatting of posts I wanted to make, thus starting a new journal thread seems justified.

In short, in this journal I want to focus more on questing/card hunting and having a good time rather than powerleveling. I have previously mostly just hammered through levels playing as efficiently as one can with high base INT. Now going to be slowing things down a bit and enjoy the road more, hopefully ~

Spoiler: Goals

- Make a Marksman
- Complete all quests (or as many as possible)
- Fill out the monster book
- HP wash to 19k hp clean

Spoiler: Rules

- No funding from other characters
- No starting NX (mostly just because I didn't have any anyway kek)
- Level without leeching
- Limit mules to SI/owl mules

Originally I was only using an owl mule, but playing a crossbowman with SI makes me feel like a NL, while the slow shooting they usually would do is just meh. I was seriously surprised at how much of a difference SI makes in the 'feeling' of the class. Since I already have a lvl 126 bucc, I figured I'd just use that to SI myself during this adventure ~
