Windows 8/8.1/10 Game Crashing

    I am running Maplelegends on Windows and have been having issues with the game crashing. When I run without admin my game crashes with Error: -2147287038 and tells me to update to latest patch. (my client says May 26, 2020 even though I patched using the May 27, 2020 patch.) When I run with admin, my game crashes randomly, it just black screens, and no error message pops up afterwards. I just did a fresh redownload earlier today and I restarted my computer. Not really sure what to do at this point, any advice would be helpful thank you!

    Have you both tried changing the compatibility mode and running it as admin?

    It might also be a connection issue since theres no error message, try resetting your modem by unplugging it for about 10 to 15 minutes plug it back in and give it another try.

    This is what I do if I run into this problem and it works on my windows pc, if any of these don't work it could be an entirely different issue.

    also make sure Maplelegends is allowed through firewall
