Hi! I just downloaded Maple Legends for Mac today.

I originally had a X11 error that I fixed by downloading the newest Winery Skin and updating my wrapper.

However, when I open my Maplestory, it goes fullscreen to the Neckson and then Wizet login screens and then it closes. I see both my Maplestory and MaplestoryWine open in my Dockbar, but I do not see the game. When I slide my Mac out to see all my windows open, I do see that a Maplestory window exists, but I cannot open or click into it. I've tried updating my Winery engines, but nothing works.

Basically I can open the game and see the Neckson/Wizet log in screens, but the game kinda dissapears right after that (so I cannot login/access the game).

Have never seen this issue before but your window looks a bit weird in size so I'm curious if you can right click the client> show package contents > wineskin > set screen option and give me a screen shot of what your settings look like?

If i understand correctly, you have two issues here :
    1. Your game will auto shuting down when you try to start the game
    2. Your screen will get minimises when you started the game

My solution for you is :
    1. Try refresh your wrapper and do a test run, if it still not working try force update by clicking update wrapper in advanced option -> tools
    2. You can easily change your game window size in "Virtual desktop at :" meny, change it and click button "Done"

Can you tell me what version is your mac right now?

    There is solution for you(steps):

1.Check app store if there is new update for your mac, click update all and then try to start the game.
2.After update might cause you can't start the game, open your package content and update your wrapper and select right engines(like you did before when you faced the x11 error).
3.When you done with step 2, try do a test run with your wineskin.

    4. If it's still not working, try reinstall the game on your mac(after reinstalling put the game file from download folder to application folder) and remove your current "Wineskin Winery" program(I just want make sure this time we do all these steps right).
    5. Download the Wineskin Winery program here : http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/tiki-index.php?page=Downloads and then put the program on your desktop

    6. Follow the installing steps over here:
    6.1 Open "Wineskin Winery"
6.2 Simply update Wrapper Version (Wineskin-2.6.2 or later) and Installed Engines (WS9Wine1.7.52 or later)
6.3 Next right click on application inside Applications folder, select "Show Package Contents" and than double click "Wineskin" icon inside it
6.4 Next click "Advanced" button and go to "Tools" tab
6.5 Click "Update Wrapper", this automatically update the wrapper for your application
6.6 Click "Change Engine Used", select the latest downloaded Engine (WS9Wine1.7.52 or later) and click "OK"
6.7 Finally, close all windows and you're done - now you can run your application like before without compromising security of OS X

    7. If you still can't play the game, i think it's better you contact the staff members. OnionCoffeeOnionCoffeeOnionCoffee

If your game is closing before you get to the login screen then redownloading the game should work.

This might be a little late for a response but I had the same exact problem. I solved it by using the engine 2.5 instead of 2.6. The steps I took were to first download the engine and then opened the app in the Maplestory folder. From there update the wrapper first and then change the engine to 2.5. Try running the game then and it should work, or at least in my case.
