Going with sound on or off in-game?

    Personally I'm going to have all sound activated in-game when the server starts for that real nostalgic feeling of playing maple with functioning quests, PQ's etc, atleast for a couple of levels or until I get tired of it.

    I play with low sound cause hearing the non-stop popping of water balloons or paper planes (NX stars) is extremely annoying.

    sound will probly always be on, will probly turn of bgm and turn on some other music when i start to grind for a while

    I usually mute both and put my own music on, unless I start to get tired of my own music, in that case I turn the game's music back on. Sometimes I also just like to listen to the game's own sound/bgm music, for similar reasons you stated. Nostalgia, etc.

    Depends on what I am doing in game actually. If its just repetitive grinding, I'll be putting my own music on. BGM music especially can get annoying in the loop when you leave it on for too long.
