[Guide] Job Advancement

Anyone that's returning to MapleStory in general or a new player specifically to MapleLegends, I hope this helps you on your journey and pay it forward by helping other players in-game if they are having trouble with this sort of stuff and/or link them here! Feel free to correct me if there is anything wrong! Without further ado, happy mapling and cheers to my favorite server of all time!

Warrior: Level 10 | STR 35
Magician: Level 8 | INT 20
Bowman: Level 10 | 25 DEX
Thief: Level 10 | 25 DEX
Pirate: Level 10 | 20 DEX




Warrior

Requirements:
Level 30
All Skill Points Used


Talk to your first job instructor. They will give you a letter to give to another job instructor (scroll down to find your 2nd job instructor).
Once you arrive, you need to defeat monsters and collect 30 Dark Marble. Speak to the instructor again after and you will receive The Proof of a Hero. Finally, go back to your first job instructor, select the class you want, and you will advance.

Pirates will only need to talk to Kyrin the whole time for the advancement. After she warps you to a map, collect 15 Potent Power Crystal. Finally, talk to her again and you will advance.

Travel to El Nath: Chief's Residence and speak to your 3rd job instructor. Then, talk to your 1st job instructor. Bring a couple of All Cure Potion, the boss can debuff you. Finally, go to the Door of Dimension for your class.

Pirate | Dungeon: Cave of Evil Eye II


Once you've spoken to the Door of Dimension you will be warped to a map. Walk towards the right and enter the portal. Defeat your 1st job instructor's clone and pick up the Black Charm that dropped. Talk to Sparkling Crystal in the upper right corner of the map to teleport out.

Head to your 1st job instructor and turn in the Black Charm. You will receive The Necklace of Strength. Go back to your 3rd job instructor and give that necklace to them.


Make sure you have at least 1 Dark Crystal. You will speak to the Holy Stone and answer it's questions which in return will give you The Necklace of Wisdom.


1. Speak to Danger Zone Taxi and and select "Ice Valley II".

2. Speak to Jeff and you will arrive at "Sharp Cliff I".


3. Climb up and enter the portal to "Sharp Cliff II", climb up and look for a wooden door to the right of your screen which will lead you to the location of the Holy Stone.

4. Answer all of the questions correctly and you will receive The Necklace of Wisdom.


5. Finally, go back to your 3rd job instructor and you will advance.

Speak to your 3rd job instructor in El Nath to get a letter which you will bring to your 4th job instructor in Leafre. Go to Leafre: Valley of the Antelope, and go to the upper right corner of the map and you will find a big mouth entrance . You have arrived at Leafre: Forest of the Priest where all the 4th job instructors are. Speak to your 4th job instructor and they will ask you to collect The Heroic Star and The Heroic Pentagon. You have two options (scroll down more for 2nd option).




1ST OPTION

You can kill the bosses Manon ( ) and Griffey () for the items.

2ND OPTION

Talk to Chief Tatamo in Leafre and accept the quest Tatamo's Suggestion and he will tell you to retrieve Secret Spell Scroll. The scroll requires 10 million mesos to purchase from Vega.
He is located in Ludibrium: Eos Tower 44th Floor.
Finish the quest and in return you will receive The Heroic Star and The Heroic Pentagon.




Finally! After you collected The Heroic Star and The Heroic Pentagon from one of the above methods, turn them into your 4th job instructor and you will advance. Don't forget to speak to your 4th job instructor again to receive the skill book for Maple Warrior.
