What a noob guide

 

For those with a need for speed, the "just send it" strat can be very consistent (if nothing else, quantity is a quality)

It looks crazy at first but once you get a feel for it, you'll notice that tolerance for timing your launches is quite generous - easier than normal jumping. I use the meter markings to remember when to fling myself, you get to skip a lot of those deceptively skinny UFO platforms, you can pretty much ignore the asteroids entirely, and in theory you can just hold down right whole time (except to jump) so direction is one less thing to worry about. I messed up a little here, that's why I have to do the awkward shuffling at ~15 meters



To fling yourself, you have to let go of the arrow keys before you jump
