This bug is no longer a thing in MapleLegends

If you encounter one of the following issues you most likely have the rush bug:

-The monster item drop sound as well as your own item drop sound no longer works/is silent
-Monster HP and name no longer shows, regardless of setting
-Warrior skill 'Rush' no longer works at all
-Corkscrew blow no longer works. You can charge it, but releasing it does nothing
-Pirate skill 'Backspin blow' no longer works at all
    -Smokescreen no longer protects yourself

In v83 apparently auto MP/HP also breaks, but we are fortunate enough to not have this issue!

Why the name Rush bug if it also has a lot of other issues? Well, rush breaking is the first time I was introduced to this bug, and it kinda stayed on me, and that's how I've been calling it.

    Vague explanation:
'Rush' bug is a rather technical issue more common lately on Windows 10 due to way they save specific things on system shut down. Because things get saved, its now much more common for this said saved data to reach 25 days, which than starts to break things in MapleStory. This said thing is known as timeGetTime. Shutting down no longer resets this because Windows 10 keeps it in memory, so it can bootup faster the next time you turn it on. Only restarting does (without shutting down).

If you notice you have this issue, its solved very easily.

    1) Restart your PC. Do NOT shut down than restart it, because that will not reset it.
    2) Problem solved!

Now you can play again for about 25 days in a row without restarting, until the problem comes back. Unfortunately, this is an issue that is even still present in modern MapleStory, so a solution requires a lot of client hacks!
