I feel kinda useless in this game.

I totally get you. When I played my Ice Lightning I was always looking at my damage compared to others'.
But don't worry, you'll get a better grasp of it as time flows. I'm sure to others you seem much more useful than you think you are.
Take your time, maybe you should relax a little and care less about being useful.

Useless player? Never seen them around. This community is small, which is in a way everyone is close together. If your new, its a good thing. You feel the challenges of having no mesos, whats wrong with that? I remember when i was a cleric at lvl 36 who could barely kill the jr wraiths in kerning city. It's not always about the damage, the game as it is, i don't know about others but for me what makes it fun... its not about your damage comparing with others. It's about how you contribute. Low level low damage? Everyone starts at the same point, with low damage. As you build up you're character, the path you go, the people you met, that's what the game is about to me, that's what makes it fun for me, not comparing damage. And also you may be a high level player, but if ur attitude is bad and ur cocky, whats so good about urself. Im just glad we dont have these sort of players around, which is why ML is really fun. How everyone views u, that's the most important perspective

 

No one is useless, cuz MapleLegends is a community, let's say i'm a noob lv 41 spearman (which I am XD)
My damage IS REALLY LOW but I am someone that contribute in everything!
When you level, you get a bunch of peoples saying: GRATS <3
This message motivate me to keep on going.
You know, I started legends for the same reason, but now I feel SOO better <3

Lets be real here, a F/P Mage is the #1 most useless job xD We are farting in the fm, we take peoples skele maps at lvl80 and our dmg sucks untill we get meteor. Lel

I'm also in the same boat man. When I first started playing Legends, I joined Demure and back then it only had a handful of 4th jobs. My goal was to get to at least lvl 110 so I could be a zak attacker. Now 5 months later (14x now), there are 5 other NLs in Demure with better or soon to be better DPM than me, I also don't have enough hp to survive HT. Maybe I'm not useless, but there are people better at the bossing job than I ever wanted to be so I totally get the "useless" feeling you have. Best thing we can do is keep getting stronger so we can help others get better Keep your head up!
