Ironman Archer: Story of Tailor

This is my no-trade no-party challenge bowman, Tailor. After having played MapleLegends for a long time and doing non-stop bossing, I missed the old-school feeling of exploring and grinding, so I decided to make an ironman character. My end-game goal is to kill Papulatus and eventually, Zakum.

Other than the iron-clad rule of no-trade and no-party, I decided to only use NX that drops from mobs. I came to this conclusion after debating if I should be allowed to get pets and expand inventory space; I thought about maybe allowing myself to expand once per job advance, or just do without any of it. However whatever I came up with seemed contrived and I felt like I would change my mind at any moment. The rule I ended up with has the benefit of severely limiting my NX while also giving me the freedom to choose.

Right now, Tailor is level 44, and I've simply been doing quests to level up. I didn't feel the need to write a journal about that. But now the fun begins. Quests are starting to give less and less exp, and in order to upgrade my gear further, I need to farm mobs that drop them.

For now, I am killing Platoon Chronos for glove atk 60 scrolls. It's not the best mob because nothing else of interest drops there, but I was in Ludi already so I decided to start there before I get bored and move on. So far I've killed 750, with 0 scrolls. Soon I will move on to Plateon, which drops glove atk 60 AND a level 50 bow.

Eventually, I will have to decide what I want to do about skillbooks that I can't get by myself, but that is still far, far away. Right now I just want enough NX to expand my ETC slot because ITS KILLING ME (as it did back in GMs).
