What is supposed to happen?: Finish the quest
Where did you find and/or notice this bug?: I tried several times to finish the quest but the npc says that I don't have the ores that its ask me, but I do have it...

Not sure if this could be the issue but did you already join the other side? IIRC you can only join one.

 

You can join both sides, but following the questline through to the end only allows for one cape upgrade to the level 80 cape. If I remember correctly it's specifically jewel ores, he won't take mineral ores. Can you confirm you're using jewel ores?

Jewel Ores : Garnet, Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Diamond, Black Crystal, Topaz and Opal.

 

Thank u 4 the advice, but the npc show me that I already having done the quest with the brown book close, when I want to finish the quest it is impossible, the npc tell me that I don't have the ores.

Do you have jewel ores? After checking various sources I can confirm he only takes jewel ores (and you need 2 of a single ore to turn it in).

Also, do you have space available in your inventory? Could also be a problem.

 

The quest is a bit clunky, in that it will show the closed book the moment you start the quest regardless of whether or not you have the ores.

They also have to be the same ores.

 

I did this quest not long ago as a wizard, I just remember to get some random flowers from my main char (just be careful not to give away the lidium you need)

 

it was so easy, just 2 ores and that's it, I get confused about the book closed.
