Information Live update - 13 / 01 / 2017

Hi,

As some may have experienced we started get a minor lag spike every day at same hour(s). The reason to this is because of our daily backups activating. MapleLegends is getting bigger and bigger, so it takes longer to do said backups.

Today we have tweaked the system in hope it no longer spikes, which I will find out tomorrow (I will probably miss it because I forget it )

I will also put the patch notes up soon for the next patch, which most likely happens around January 16, aka the event end. Its not a big patch by any means, but I hope you enjoy it anyway. There's also a lot of other stuff we are working on but I can't really say much about that right now, but we are basically doing things

As for the host I myself have never seen hiccups anymore or lag spikes, has anyone? For me past weeks things have been super smooth, but is it for everyone? Feel free let me know your experience now, seeing its now months ago since we've moved host.

And as I predicted I forgot about it

 

Basically when our server does make backups it should no longer spike the server for 1~2 minutes.

 

Not now! However, there will most likely be one soon when event ends.
