Windows 8/8.1/10 ML closes randomly after <4 minutes, Not Internet Related(?)

    Been trying to play MapleLegends the past few days, but after a few minutes of gameplay or less, the game closes. When this happens, nothing appears within the crash logs folder. It has happened on the log-in screen, while afk, and during combat. The only consistent part of the situation is that it happens within a few minutes.

    I've tried just about every solution I've seen posted here and in the discord. Some of what I've tried:
    - Reinstalled multiple times, trying both of my drives
    - Restarted my PC
    - Checked my refresh rate is 60 hz
    - Ensured my graphics drivers are up to date
    - Tried every setting in the config file
    - Tried running in administrator mode
    - Replaced my ethernet cable
    - Ran it in all sorts of different compatibility modes
    - Disabled my antivirus and windows firewall, and made exceptions for ML within them.
    - Did "ping 8.8.8.8 -t" while running the game to test whether my internet would drop at the same time as ML closing, which it did not.

    Really at a loss for what to do here, as I really would like to play the game but I can't. Would really appreciate any other ideas. Thanks.

    Specs:
    cpu: AMD ryzen 5 3600
    gpu: AMD radeon RX 5600 XT
    Windows 10

    Some additional info I've just found out:
    When unplugging my ethernet cable whilst playing, the game first fades to black and then closes. This also causes a crash log to be added to the crash logs folder.
    This is unlike the issue I've been having as it just closes suddenly without fading to black. Also important, no crash log is added to the folder.
    This may lend credence to my theory that the issue is not internet related.

    I'll probably keep updating this thread if I end up trying more stuff while I wait for any sort of response.

    New attempts at fixing:
    - Disabled every setting under "App & Browser Control"
    - Reinstalled once again, (including reinstalling the installer) while keeping base settings (in case that somehow affected things)

    At some point I think I'll try installing it on a different device to see if that changes things :unsure:

    Do you happen to have messed with the compatibility mode in the past? Or perhaps at all? Maybe try put it on Windows 7 and see if that somehow helps

    Right click MapleLegends > Properties > Compatibility > Windows 7 > Apply > run game

    Unfortunately I have tried most of the different options in the compatibility menu. Tried Windows 7 again specifically just in case I missed it but sadly no dice.
    ML closed once after 5 seconds on the log-in screen, and then after managing to log in for 3 minutes and killing some stumps it closed again. Again, no crash logs for either.

    I've tried running the "compatibility troubleshooter" a few times as well, going through multiple different settings Windows recommended (which did nothing ofc)

    At this point I'm kinda more interested by what the cause could be rather than getting into the game itself lol
    Would love any more suggestions though

    No, as stated in the initial post I use AMD. Do you use NVidia? Seems like a problem that doesn't matter what card people use

    I did a fast glance getting ready for work mb, yeah I'm nvidia. Was hoping its a driver issue

    Figured I'd just state that the recent unscheduled restart did not fix the issue. (Which I know it wasn't intended to, I just wanted to test it just in case it somehow did haha)
