Closed Monster # and possible reward bug?

    Description of the bug: (optional screenshot/video):When I killed 999 zombie mushrooms and went to "The Rememberer" only said I killed 99 Zombie mushrooms. I did this 999 Horny mushrooms as well, but I did not check if it also said 99 instead of 999. I am also unsure if the reward was supposed to be higher (exp).
    What is supposed to happen?: The number count for the monster (Zombie Mushroom) needs to be 999.
    Where did you find and/or notice this bug?:Quest, Sleepywood.

    I believe the exp and potion rewards from the 99 quests ate higher than the 999 anyhow. That's because the 999 is repeatable
