Hey Kimmy - is the only difference between the new and old settings that the old starts in windowed mode? That's the ONLY difference?

If so, then why would the "new" launch in full screen (and not the other way around)? I thought most Mac users would prefer playing in windowed O_O.

The "new settings" uses a updated engine which is more compatible with i believe the El Capitan OS specifically and somewhat carrying over to the Sierra OS. Although you could be running a more up to date OS and experience no issues with the "old settings", which is a engine that doesn't directly support the El Capitan OS along with Sierra, many people do infact experience issues. At a time when I was helping everyone with Mac support to the best that I could, I noticed that by simply making people use the more updated engine, people would experience no issues while trying to run the game (until High Sierra came along with it's fuckery). Aside from that there r difference in performance between each engine. The newer one is likely to open up in full screen and allows you to toggle between full and half where as the older one doesn't and seems to be in perma half. One of the biggest differences though imo is the scrolling function. If you like to scroll through FM shops you're going to notice that the newer engine doesnt like to do that where as the old one works completely fine when trying to scroll through windows. The "new" one is pushed simply so people don't have any errors upon downloading and both are included for personal preferences.

Yep, that's what I've noticed - perm half screen with no option to toggle, but perfectly working scrolling. There is also a strange resolution issue. I'll try alternating between both and settle on one I find better.
