Windows 8/8.1/10 No Audio when alt-tabbed

    Had trouble determining whether I should put this in tech or suggestions..

    Basically I'm trying to keep my game audio playing while MapleLegends is open but not the window I'm currently using. When I'm in game on the Orbis ship for example, I want to be able to hear the music change when ship has started sailing and I'm in another window browsing the Library.

    Is there another way to accomplish this with perhaps windows settings or something?
    I tried messing with some Fullscreen settings in the .ini to see if it would work, but no dice. Most games allow a "borderless fullscreen" option that can make this work, but I don't think MapleLegends has that feature.

    Borderless windowed is not exactly what keeps audio active, its rather just how games handle it (most offering a setting to keep audio active while unfocused), and most old games did not do that. I am not sure if this is a possibility within this ancient engine.

    If there's any room to make this change it would help me out a lotIf it looks like there's something I can tweak in my windows settings to override the game's natural audio handling, please let me know. I understand you guys just do what you can; I don't mean to ask you to perform a miracle I'm just not entirely sure what the options might be :) forgive my ignorance when it comes to the technicalities
