Disclaimer: This is just a guide until a fix for the owl can be made so that it works properly.

Introduction

If you've ever used The Owl of Minerva before you may have seen things like "Can't go" and "Store Closed". But these msgs doesn't always mean you're in the wrong ch or that the store is actually closed so hopefully this guide can help you find the item you're looking for without getting scammed by the owl!

Things to take into Account

1. The first thing to note is that no matter where the item is, the owl will ALWAYS say it is in ch 1.
2. When you use an owl in a ch other than ch 1 everything will say can't go.
3. By hovering the mouse over the "cant go" option, the owl will show where the store is located. (But remember that the owl will ALWAYS say the item is in ch 1 even when it is not)
4. When you use a owl in ch 1 and the owl says the store is closed, this means the item is in a different ch.

How to use the owl

1. NEVER use the owl in ch 1. (If you get the "store closed" msg there is no way to tell which room the item is in)
2. When you search for an item in any ch besides 1, you should get "cant go" for every single item. When you move your mouse over the "cant go" option you should see where the item is located. For Example:



Because we already know the owl thinks every item is in ch 1 we will ignore that information and only take into account which room the item is in.
3. Now that we know which room the item is in you can take into account the name of the buyer or the name of the store. (or both)
4. Now that you know which room the item is in and the name of the shop or seller, all there is left to do is check every ch of the room the item is located in until you find the shop.
