Error: Failure in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D when running MapleLegendsWindowed, running the normal client renders me unable to press alt+enter to enter windowed mode, using dxwnd causes me unable to launch multiple clients at the same time.

    System Settings:
    DirectX Version: 12
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
    Native Resolution: 2560 x 1440 @ 60Hz (800 x 600 under list of available resolutions)
    Dedicated Video Memory: 4096mb

    Solutions attempted so far:
    1) Updating Graphics Card drivers
    2) Running in Compatibility mode
    3) Minimizing all other windows and running client a few times
    4) Running Setup.exe
    5) Changing monitor resolutions

    Hi there,

Before anything: Do this at your own risk - adding unsupported resolutions can result in no display and force you to boot in safe mode.

If you're using an Intel GPU, you can attempt the following to add forced support for Maple's default resolutions:

    Intel HD Control Panel
Right-click Desktop → Intel Graphics Settings → Display → Custom Resolutions
    Intel HD Graphics
Right-click Desktop Graphics Options → Custom Resolutions

    Enter the following settings:
    Width: 800
    Height: 600
    Refresh Rate: 60
    Color Depth: 32 bit

If you're not on an Intel GPU, you can try to download the the Custom Resolution Utility at https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU

Open cru.exe → Tick all '800x600' results on the left list → Click OK.

    -=-

If that doesn't work, you can try my Legends+ tool if you like - I've added several fixes to this kind of issue on W8.1/W10, but I don't know if it addresses this specific issue, sorry! :(

    Bump with some updates:
-After discussion with my guildie, ested changing the resolution of my monitor from the default 2560x1440 to 1920x1080, and I was surprisingly able to run maple without dxwnd. However, I would prefer to keep my default resolution, is there any way?
